This memorandum is to set out details of our agreement regarding the management of the forest on the property known as Wildwood owned by TLC The Land Conservancy of British Columbia.
Whereas it is the desire of both parties that there be a mutually beneficial and supportive relationship between them, and
Whereas the objectives of both parties complement each other,
The parties agree as follows.
1. This agreement can be terminated with 6 months notice in writing from either party.
2. TLC will be responsible for the day to day operation of Wildwood.
3. TLC will manage Wildwood as it does other sites of major cultural importance, applying policies which ensure that the property will be maintained without diminishment in perpetuity.
4. TLC, its staff and volunteers, will maintain the land and improvements to a high standard and will, as funds are available, provide accommodation and learning facilities for students, visitors and the general public.
